What formats are available?

  • All products can be easily appended to a customer file by Equifax, or your firm, based on full address or ZIP data
  • Full database files can be provided to clients in the form of directories to enable self-service appends (Economic Cohorts excluded)
  • Real Time Append is available via the Wallet Insights™ API
  • All data is for United States households only; no international data is available

Ability to Pay Index™

Format and Update Frequency

  • Appended and full database files will be delivered as ASCII text files (configurable upon request).
  • New vintages will be provided twice yearly based on June and December data updates.

Delivery Method

  • Equifax supports full database delivery, appends, and API configuration.
  • Preferred file transmittal method is via our secure SFG site or the client’s FTP site.

Size, Scope, and Demographic of Data

  • One data record will be provided for each customer household input.
  • Inputs are limited to United States addresses.
  • To append a file with the Ability to Pay Index score, each record must include a valid ZIP Code and ZIP+4 Code (age is optional but preferred).

What Does it
Look Like?

  • The chart illustrates how ATP is used in conjunction with a sample file
  • For simple ATP append, your firm can supply a unique customer ID, ZIP+4, and Age of Head of Household
  • The first 4 columns are provided by your firm and then appended with ATP measure which will yield the final column
  • If no ZIP+4 is readily available, we can geo-code that information based on accurate Street Address, City, State, and ZIP

CreditStyles® Pro

Format and Update Frequency

  • Appended and full database files will be delivered as ASCII text files (configurable upon request).
  • New vintages will be provided quarterly.

Delivery Method

  • Equifax supports full database delivery, appends, and API configuration.
  • Preferred file transmittal method is via our secure SFG site or the client’s FTP site.

Size, Scope, and Demographic of Data

  • Up to 400 variables covering credit, risk, propensity / intent and Aggregated FICO® scores can be provided for each customer household input.
  • Inputs are limited to United States addresses.
  • To append a file with CreditStyles Pro, each record must include a valid ZIP Code and ZIP+4 Code.

What Does it Look Like?

The first 3 columns are provided by your firm and then appended with CreditStyles Pro Detailed Credit Variables. If no ZIP+4 is readily available, Equifax can geo-code that information based on accurate Street Address, City, State, and Zip. *Table Data is for illustrative purposes only

  • Inputs are limited to United States addresses.
  • To append a file with DSI, each record must include a valid ZIP Code and ZIP+4 Code (age is optional but preferred).

What Does it Look Like?

This chart illustrates how DSI can be used in conjunction with a sample file (*Where Income360® is also licensed).
The first 4 columns are provided by your firm and then appended with DSI which will yield the final column.

Economic Cohorts®

Format and Update Frequency

  • Appended database files will be delivered as ASCII text files (configurable upon request).
  • New vintages will be provided once a year based on the December data update.
  • Economic Cohorts is not available in directory / full database format.

  • Preferred file transmittal method is via our secure SFG site or the client’s FTP site.

  • One data record will be provided for each customer household input.
  • Inputs are limited to United States addresses.
  • To append a file with Economic Cohorts, each record must include a valid Name, Address, City, State and Zip Code.

How is it Delivered?

Economic Cohorts is typically delivered as a batch append to customer or prospect lists, or as a real-time append via an API. User Guide also provides detail about each cluster including economic summary, demographics, interests, media, lifestyle and attitudes.

File enhancement/coding: Analyze and segment households:

  • Append your customer or prospect file with Economic Cohorts cluster codes for modeling, segmentation, and marketing campaigns
  • Includes Economic Cohorts National Profile and Cluster Profiles for each of 71 clusters

Geographic market sizing:

  • Household counts by cluster and distribution of clusters for desired geographies (state, county, CBSA, block group, ZIP) delivered via Excel
  • Geographic market sizing sizes, ranks, and prioritizes markets to enhance opportunity assessment, performance analysis, and resource allocation
