Jeff Sporn, Chief Digital Officer at Data-driven Marketing, Honored as IAB Data Rockstar

An experienced digital and data strategist, Sporn helps brands make more intelligent decisions with their data to optimize marketing spend and drive ROI from their campaigns as well as their segments.

IAB recognized Sporn for his work spearheading an Equifax initiative to bring advanced marketing measurement solutions to U.S. customers. He led the recent acquisition of an Australian marketing analytics firm and the launch of OptimaHub, a new Equifax capability that helps companies measure and optimize their ad dollars in a way that makes sense for the economics of their business.

Equifax has been very supportive, both in investments and encouragement, to go out and create exciting, dynamic solutions that let me and others function at our top,” Sporn said.

After OptimaHub launched in early 2019, Jeff took on the key role of data evangelist, educating CMOs about advanced measurement tools that go beyond last-click analysis for attribution. He takes the time to get to know a brand and its goals, and helps marketers go deeper into the customer journey and see the value of every high-quality marketing touchpoint with an unbiased view.

“Jeff productized OptimaHub in a way that made it straight-forward and accessible to customers of all sizes. Through this capability, he’s helping Equifax broaden its offerings beyond consumer data to bring deeper intelligence to brands,” said Myk Rambus, General Manager, Data-driven Marketing at Equifax.

Equifax’s measurement solutions have resonated among insurance companies, telecoms and auto manufacturers, where layered customer journey insights are critical to growth. Jeff and his team are now looking to introduce OptimaHub to global markets in the coming months.

He accepted the award at the IAB Rewards Reception and Networking Event on October 10 in New York City.
